Hoya kerrii

Hoya kerrii is one of those funky plants that catches everyone’s eye. Their leaves grow in the shape of hearts and can be trained on trellises or they can trail around their planters. When growing in the right conditions, this plant will surprise you with how quickly it pushes out new leaves.

Pro-tip: avoid purchasing a single Hoya kerrii leaf planted in soil. Most likely, the leaf was planted without a node and will not produce more leaves (unless you are very, very lucky and very, very patient).

Plant will arrive in a 3-4" nursery pot

Bright indirect light

Stick your finger in the soil. If the soil is dry two inches down, water thoroughly. If still moist, check again the next day

Does not tolerate overwatering

Tip: Gently squeeze the edges of a mature leaf life a taco. If it gives easily and the soil is dry, the plant needs to be watered. If it is very firm, it does not need to be watered just yet. *If the leaf gives easily but the soil is moist, check for root rot*

Well draining
